Cheltenham

The Regency splendour of Cheltenham Spa is a little over half an hour away from Foxhill Manor. Although the town’s 19th-century heyday as a revitalising spa destination has passed, it has acquired more than its fair share of 21st-century temptations, including its racecourse, home to the famous Gold Cup; a wealth of shopping and dining options; and the four festivals that make it a major player on the UK cultural scene: jazz, science, music and literature.

The highlight of the town’s social calendar is the four day Cheltenham Festival in March each year, when hundreds of eager punters flock to the races to eat, drink, be merry, watch some of the most nail biting racing in the country and (hopefully) win big. If you fancy a flutter while you’re staying at Foxhill, let us know and we’ll give you a lift over.
